The system tracks hundreds of diocesan and related web sites around the clock. Newly issued news releases, bishops' statements, homilies, spiritual reflections, and similar documents are identified, reviewed and referenced in the Catholic News Network, often within minutes of their posting.
St. Thomas University also utilizes this technogy to offer links to specialized web content through two other web sites: Diplomacy Monitor and its components, and U.S. Law Schools News Brief.
